It’s been a long time, we shouldn’t have left you, without a new Bizarre Beyond Belief issue. Sincerest apologies for the delay on this one. Many obstacles and road bumps in creating this publication. However, we’re back with a brilliant double-pressed tenth issue. Coming at you with a powerhouse line up such as the legendary New York graffiti artist Alan Ket, our first repeat interviewee Jack Hardwicke, Greek graffiti artist BIZ360, the omnipotent being Earth Crusher, the incredible Trevor Wheatley, innovative street/fine artist LX ONE, the 20th anniversary of the BSM Crew in Toronto, and one of our absolute favourites Jason Botkin. After an absurd amount of personal and technical difficulties, we’re back with issue number 9. Launching on Canada Day, what better way to celebrate than to have an issue comprising entirely of Canadians. With incredible talent from coast to coast that features the likes of ASESR, Norman Wong, NAKS, Kevin Ledo, ORDR, SERVO and a recap of the Montreal Mural Festival, the latest instalment of BBB is guaranteed to please.
The wait for the great eight is over! In another double-pressed issue with a variety of incredible artists that are finely tuned and well respected painters in their practice, issue number eight of Bizarre Beyond Belief will have your eyes oozing with pleasure. With artists such as MOTEL6 [GH], Alex Bierk, JNasty [Die By The Can], Marc Gooderham, John Reuss, Adam “CODAK” Smith, Ruben Pang and DOES of LoveLetters, this hundred and four page issue will leave you wanting more and more. For a number of years now we’ve been absolutely obsessed with GWAR. Seen them live a few times and watched hours on end of their hilarious videos. We got a chance to sit down with Dave Brockie (a.k.a. Oderus Urungus) in the summer and interviewed him for our 4th issue. A must-read if you haven’t already.
If you haven’t gone through the 4th issue there was a lot of great content. Here we are bringing out an excerpt from the main man at Block By Block Ink, SIZEO. He’s got a lot of great things to say and great photos too boot.
Mark Lyken is undoubtedly one of our favourite artists and individuals that we’ve met throughout this journey. Unbelievably receptive and beyond talented. Here’s his interview from our 4th issue, if you haven’t already read it.
In light of the fact that the 6th issue has dropped, we’re going to get caught up on the features here for those of you who have missed them from previous issues. Here’s a short and sweet one from SKARY, one of our favourites from down under.
