This absolutely blows our minds. A very close friend of ours, who we grew up with, Aaron Li-Hill (also featured in Issue #1) has just finished creating a massive installation sculpture at the Art Gallery of Ontario. That’s big cheese where we come from. It’s a great installation and we’re super proud of his success. We know you’ll love it too.
We’ve posted up Li Wei before and when there’s that element of humour in work, we’re always going to find a reason to post it. These photographs from Wei are hilarious but also sort of trippy and disturbing. Either way, they’re awesome.

This past weekend, Aaron Li-Hill and Catto Houghton‘s exhibition of absolutely amazing work at IndustREAL Arts Gallery in Toronto. We’ve got some pictures of the show, unfortunately they’re pretty low-grade as we only brought our iPhone like morons instead of our DSLR, but hopefully you’ll enjoy them just as much.
Don’t forget if you’re in Toronto tonight that Aaron Li-Hill and Catto Houghton‘s show entitled “Fractal Facets” open reception is tonight from 7-10 at industREAL arts at 688 Richmond street.

We just got a heads up from the absolutely amzing Aaron Li-Hill about an upcoming show he has with Catto Houghton at The IndustREALarts Room in Toronto, Ontario running from June 7-10. Opening reception on June 8th from 7-10. It’s undoubtedly a “must-go” to anyone in Toronto during that time. Formal invite and information after the jump.
In our first issue we had an interview with Aaron Li-Hill. He’s a very determined young artist and he’s definitely got a lot of interesting things to say. If you haven’t had a chance to read the interview in the magazine, here’s your shot.

Li Wei is a Beijing-based photographer who’s work is hilarious and original. Each picture you giggle and then wonder how the hell he did it.
