Our man and interviewee of issue #3, Sean Hart, has got an old series of typographic works on recycled mattresses that has recently surfaced through the grapevine of the internet and we love ‘em so much we’re of course going to post them.

Photographers Sean Lenz and Kristoffer Abildgaard used Cyalume glow sticks to create these magnificent images of glowing neon waterfalls. The glow sticks were dropped into Northern California waterfalls and used long exposure shots to capture the long trails of colour. No need to be concerned of pollution either. The glow sticks were never cracked open and they were also collected immediately after the images were taken.

Sean E. Avery creates magnificent birds out of recycled and discarded compact discs. Despite the fact the sculptures are from found materials, they look unbelievably elegant.

There’s no way that if you’re following this blog you don’t know who Mike Giant is. So, on that note, he’s a video of him doing a typographic mural for San Franciscan filmmaker Sean Desmond.
One of our all time favourites, Sean Hart, just sent over a new masterpiece he completed. It’s unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. A story told through pictures, text and wall scrawlings. Unbelievably beautiful. These are just a few pictures, you’ve got to go to his site and see the full thing.

Here’s another excerpt from the 3rd issue of BBB with one of our favourite dudes, Sean Hart.

Sean Hart is a street artist that uses typography and legibility as his primary focus of conveying his message. Blunt, crisp and to the point. Works damn well.
