WayHome Festival – The Art of WayHome

We had the privilege of being allowed media accreditation for the WayHome Festival in Oro Medonte, Ontario. The festival included a roster of musical performances such as Kendrick Lamar, Modest Mouse and the grammy cleaner upper Sam Smith, to name just a few.

On top of stacked band line-up, the festival hosted some of the best and brightest of upcoming Canadian visual art talents like street art work from graffiti artists KWEST and Troy Lovegates, as well as installations from artists such as Aaron Li-Hill and the PA System. Prior to the musical acts we got a chance to snag some pictures of the work being completed and we also got a chance to talk to the brilliant curator of the art, Charles Bierk.

Charles hooked us up with some more really great images as well as a far more detailed press release to get a further understanding of the vision. Take a look at all the images and press release after the jump!
