Kiwi artist Askew One recently made his way out to Germany where he got busy on another one of his stunning portrait based murals. In town, for the PM9 project, the muralist went sky high painting a vibrant piece of one of his close friends Suia, who used to live and work in Auckland but now resides in Berlin.
We just posted up Rone‘s work this morning from the Re.Discover Bunbury festival and now we’re throwing at you an awesome new piece by Askew One. He was also invited out there with a list of amazing artists and got busy in the extremely hot sun painting some new portraits and using his classic vibrant and expressive style.
Our man Askew One just landed in Detroit last week to work on his Murals in the Market piece, but prior to that he was invited out in Fort Smith, Arkansas to paint a mural for the Unexpected Festival.
The Auckland native took photos of 4 Cherokee women from around Fort Smith and painted them on a massive scale in his signature vibrant and expressive style.
