French graffiti artist Astro has been making his mark on walls since the year 2000 and has been pushing the envelope in regards to how the viewer interacts with piece. The Parisian writer has made a ton of new walls which feature a trompe l’oeil aesthetic where it gives the illusion as if the piece is disappearing into the abyss.
Australian graffiti artist SOFLES is back again with another video. This time around he’s crushing a wall in his signature colour and flare style. The video is shot and edited by Selina Miles and meant to show the process of the artist from a variety of angles. Video after the jump!
Montreal-based street and fine artists Astro and Jean-François Poliquin teamed up with the creative studio Turn Me On Design to light up Avenue Mont-Royal in Montreal with their luminous street installations. The lights were created for a project entitled “IDEA-O-RAMA” which won the Development Corporation of Mount Royal Avenue Competition a couple years ago.
Two notorious graffiti artists from Montreal, ASTRO and ZEMA got busy beautifying the skateboard and street wear shop, Underworld. This video is a short one of the two artists completing a couple of different walls.
