Urban Art Circuit – Street Art Festival [Brazil]

Belo Horizonte is hosting its first mural festival and the third of its kind in Brazil. From July 26th to August 6th CURA – Urban Art Circuit aims to transform the landscape of BH, rescuing the trajectory of urban art in the city and recognizing its current dimension and strength in the country and in the world. Inviting five national and international artists with experience painting large-scale murals, such as Thiago Mazza and Priscila Amoni, from Belo Horizonte; the Acidum Project from Fortaleza, formed by the artists Tereza Dequinta and Robézio Marqs; and the Spanish artist Marina Capdevilla that is visiting Brazil for the first time. Tatiana Blass – Death Globe

Tatiana Blass is a Sao Paolo based artist who attained an undergraduate degree in Art from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), she has been pursuing a career as professional artist working with painting, sculpture, video and installation.

In her amazing installation entitled “Death Globe” a motorcycle was cut in two parts. One part is placed on the wall, and the other on the floor with brass tubes that interconnect the separate pieces. The tubes materialize an invisible movement, hidden by speed.

Ino – Heaven and Hell on Earth

Street artist Ino was recently in Brazil for the Concreto Festival where he painted another massive new piece. The greek artist chipped away at the wall entitled “Heaven and Hell on Earth” and is done is his signature monochromatic and graphical rendered style.

Brusk DMV – New Mural in Rio De Janeiro

Multidisciplinary artist Brusk from Da Mental Vaporz was recently invited to Brazil by the people over Art RUA to create a new piece. His new piece was painting on the streets of Rio De Janeiro and features a giant fire-extinguisher painted in his signature layered style, with references to artists in his crew within the design.

Back at it again, Os Gemeos created a new mural in Lithuania, Created for the third Vilnius Street Art Festival, the Brazilian duo painted one of their classic yellow characters climbing out of a wall, while also leaving existing graffiti on the wall.
