The “Chesterfield car” is an incredible sculpture by netherlands-based artist Olaf Mooij. The installation is in fact a Chesterfield couch that resembles an old time British car – a Standard 10, whose curves and shape were the inspiration of the project.

Ron Arad – Pressed Flowers

Inspired by a near fatal car crash that happened to his father, UK-based artist Ron Arad has created a series of wall-mounted car sculptures entitled “Pressed Flowers.” The series includes six flattened Fiat 500c Giardiniera, which represents his family’s first car, which was driven when the accident occurred.

Fabian Oefner x Ferrari – The Art of Form

Swiss artist Fabian Oefner gave a Ferrari a certain type of “paint job” to represent a visualization of its speed. In a video uploaded by car company, Oefner placed the 2015 Ferrari California T in a wind tunnel before spraying neon paint on it. As the wind tunnel blew at a speed of up to 150 miles per hour, the paint slides across the surface of the automobile, creating multiple glowing streaks and splashes.
