Daniel Agdag – The Principles of Aerodynamics

Melbourne based artist Daniel Agdag will tell you that he makes things out of cardboard. This declaration in no way illuminates the delicate form and eccentric narrative of his work.he work is created entirely from the unassuming medium of cardboard and glue. To say he pushes the medium to its limits is an understatement. His industrial imaginings are meticulously executed, forming delicate, alluring and often hypnotically complex sculptures. A process he describes as ‘sketching with cardboard’, as they are created intuitively by hand without detailed plans or drawings.

Daniel Rozin – Angles Mirror

The “Angles Mirror” created by artist Daniel Rozin, rejects the idea of building a picture based on relative lightness and darkness. Instead, it explores a system of linear rotation that indicates the direction of an object’s contour. A wall-mounted sculpture, the “Angles Mirror” is a sharp triangular block of steel, dotted with yellow indicator arms that pivot.

“I have always enjoyed drawing and painting from an early age, driven by a natural inclination to express myself and also through encouragement from friends and family. I studied Illustration at HND level but changed courses to Graphic Design, I knew I could draw but didn’t really know what to do with it. In the past 10 years I was drawn towards fine art and only in the past 5 have I found direction. Daniel Kornrumpf – Embroidery

Damn, this guy is talented. Daniel Kornrumpf is an artist who makes embroideries and paintings. All super awesome, but the embroidery in particular is spectacular. They hold a very strong painterly feel to them as well. It’s nice to see different mediums cross paths.
