Archan Nair – New Works

Archan Nair is a self- taught visual artist, illustrator and Digital Artist, specialising in mixed media, illustration, and digital art. His visual expressions are part of a journey which is really influenced by the mysteries of our existence and how every action, emotion, and our interconnectedness in a universal scale sets of a chain of reactions, which we experience from the micro to the macro scale.

We posted up Archan’s work before but he just recently reached out to us with some stunning new pieces. These new digital illustration works range from simple and vibrant animals to unworldly landscapes.

Mocre – Judge Jaguar

Our man MOCRE just sent over a new digital illustration entitled “Jaguar judge” representing the fury of nature caused by the human greed and carelessness towards it. The jaguar share a message inspirated in a phrase of Richard Buckminster Fuller (1895 -1983). He was a desinger, architecture, visionary and one of the first enviromental activists. Here’s what he has to say about the piece.

“We not continue for long manned our Spaceship Earth,
if we do not realize that it is a single ship, a common destiny.
It will be for everyone or for no one”.

Achraf Baznani – Artist Photographer

Moroccan photographer and filmmaker Achraf Baznani (Born in Marrakesh) carries on the traditions of Surrealism with his wild, imaginative, and wholly impractical imagery. Among his inventive scenarios, small human figures -often the artist himself- appear trapped within glass jars or the size of a camera lens; in other works, Baznani more or less dissects his body, as for example, in one, he cleanly removes his brain from his cranium, or in another, twists off his hand, much as if it were a light bulb. Imparted throughout such works are strong senses of humor and wonder, and as such, Baznani’s art offers a Surrealistic take on life experience in the digital age.
