Bunnie ‘Bonnie’ Reiss creates to bring together. Materials, community, cultures, experiences, the past and the present, are all part of her visual catalog. She wishes to map out unusual lives, find hidden and forgotten places, build a unique visual history, and weave it all together as one. She is a natural storyteller, time-traveler and lover of all that is us, and she lives in a world filled with magic and imagination.
Often traveling several months out of the year, Bunnie’s brain is constantly filling with new ideas and skill sets. She is fearless in her making and wishes to create spaces and paint walls where people feel safe and can imagine a world that is beautiful and gentle. She works both solo and with other artists from around the world. When she returns home to Los Angeles, she spends her days unwinding what she has uncovered in both her art practice and the classes she teaches.
Nuvango is proud to present our latest capsule collection featuring famed artist Greg “Craola” Simkins. As an extension of the almost 10 year relationship between Nuvango and Craola, this collection features brand new artwork as well as some reimagined favorites, including Craola’s new take on a classic – the little black dress. Craola is inspired by the wonderful and magical worlds found in our daydreams; sourcing Narnia, Middle Earth and Neverland as some of his favorite spots to hangout. And frankly, we’re inspired by him. Craola has been everything from graffiti god to super surrealist, and we’re thrilled to be able to create wearable works of art that showcase his talent. Take a look at the collection yourself here and more press photos after the jump.
Chicago based graffiti artist Greve recently hooked up with the Soho House and sprayed a corner mural.
