Edjinn – New Mural for Contorno Urbano

EDJINN recently completed a killer new wall for Contorno Urbano. Edjinn lives and works in Barcelona. He studied design in the Art School of Winchester and graphic design in the Elisava School. Illustrator and graphic designer, he’s famous for his style both naïve and satirical, as for his versatility: urban art, graffiti, illustrations, edition of the “Fine Arts” magazine, commercial works, collages, etc.

For his intervention in the April “12+1”, he told us what was the idea: “I want to contrast old people with new technologies, social networks and the new ways to interact that use young people, and the disconnection it might be for older people”. The artist also insists in that: what is important to him is that his works can stay somehow ambiguous, in order that everyone can read them their own way.

Ricardo has humble beginnings studying at the Mohawk Collage in Canada and working for as a screen printer in Ottawa for a couple of years where he fell in love with the medium of calligraphy. That passion grew to something quite serious almost an obsession. On that got him to work with some of the most influential brands and businesses on the face of the earth.

BustArt – The Great Outdoors

BustArt is a Swiss street artist. His technical focus lays on freehand work sometimes supported by stencils. As BustArt started his artistic career, there were no commercial aspects of the art as it is today. Likewise, urban art did happen exclusively on the streets while contract works as well as exhibitions of this art form were largely untapped. Since the beginning, the prior motivation was to paint for the people. Sharing inspiration with everybody is the main aim of his art. BustArt will always be faithful to this maxim.
