Isaac Cordal – Cement Eclipses

Artist Isaac Cordal is a sculpture artist who creates brilliant little skeleton figurines and places them throughout the street of Mexico. Cordal’s work always has the feeling of mourning, despair and a sense of loss. In his artist satement Cordal says: “Isaac Cordal is sympathetic toward his little people and you can empathize with their situations, their leisure time, their waiting for buses and even their more tragic moments such as accidental death, suicide or family funerals. The sculptures can be found in gutters, on top of buildings, on top of bus shelters; in many unusual and unlikely places.”

Isaac Cordal – Cement Eclipse

You’ve probably seen some of Isaac Cordal‘s miniature street installations before. In his new edition of his ongoing installations entitled “Cement Eclipse” is a gorgeous and fun piece that photographs more of his little sculptures in a variety of angles from drowning in a shopping cart to window shopping.
