Our man Mear One recently sent over a new piece called “Planet X” which was recently exhibited at the Lightning in a Bottle Festival (@LIBfestival). He describes this work as being “a mythological gumbo of global mythology that predates our written history” referencing various celestial events documented by the Ancient Greek, Vedic, Sumerian, Egyptian, Native American, Tibetan, Chinese, Nordic protocultures. More image and another awesome time-lapse video of the over 300+ hours MEAR spent painting this piece after the jump!
MEAR ONE studios is thrilled to present our newest release, in collaboration with world-renowned physicist Nassim Haramein, Director of Research at Resonance Science Foundation. This 24×36″ fine art print is conveniently sized to fit a standard size frame. It is numbered in the bottom left hand corner alongside a unique graphic embellishment and signed in the bottom right hand corner by the artist. More info and images after the jump.
One of our favourite artists MEAR One recently just completed his first piece of 2017 aptly titled “Darth Tut”. The sculpture piece debuted last Saturday at Copro Gallery in Santa Monica. The bust was created out of copper & rhodium, dipped in 24k double gold plating finish and it’s his first sculptural work since 2010.
