Infamous graffiti legend REVOK will be signing copies of his upcoming book release, Revok: Made in Detroit, documenting works from the past two years in Motor City after his departure from his native Los Angeles. The book’s inspired by exploration of the Detroit and his pieces are representational of Detroit’s landscape, assembling rhythmic pieces from salvaged finds. Limited to 200 copies, each cover unique, sprayed by the artist in store. Happening January 4th at MOCA Los Angeles, more information HERE.
Our good friend Todd Mazer produced and directed this new episode for MOCA‘s Art in the Streets Series of RISK MSK in association with LA Freewalls painting “Skid Row”. RISK discusses a number of things, such as his intent of the mural and the evolution of graffiti as a whole.
RETNA is definitely one of the most influential graffiti artist of modern times, but also sounds like a very level-headed and intelligent individual.
