BustArt – The Great Outdoors

BustArt is a Swiss street artist. His technical focus lays on freehand work sometimes supported by stencils. As BustArt started his artistic career, there were no commercial aspects of the art as it is today. Likewise, urban art did happen exclusively on the streets while contract works as well as exhibitions of this art form were largely untapped. Since the beginning, the prior motivation was to paint for the people. Sharing inspiration with everybody is the main aim of his art. BustArt will always be faithful to this maxim.

Lady Be – Recycled Pop Art Portraits

Lady Be creates contemporary mosaics, icons and famous portraits entirely composed of objects that have lost their original function, simply becoming “colors”. Each work has the power to awake memories connected to each object, when you see it closely, and to be perfectly recognizable from far. Moving away from the painting, in fact, the initial confusion caused by the view of an apparently meaningless assemblage becomes astonishment. The subject takes a form and you feel proud of recognizing the face as a whole. The work has a photographic look, its depth emerges clearly with lights and shadows, as well as the memories connected to the subject.

Travis Durden – Classical Star Wars Sculptures

French artist Travis Durden draws much of his inspiration for both his work and personal life through film. His pen name itself is based on two cult classic films and is actually not his government birth name. But in regards to his artistic practice, the French sculptor draws upon some of the world’s greatest films for inspiration. In a series based on Star Wars, Durden created classical styled marble sculptures featuring our favourite characters from the Lucas Film masterpiece.
