Tost Films – Pun18 1985-2016

Recently Puerto Rico urban art scene had a terrible lost of one of the finest and most important graffiti artist of this generation, Pun18. Tost Films recently made a beautiful video dedicated to their close friend.

Rest In Peace – Demz

Delbert Rodriguez Gutierrez, better known by his graffiti name “Demz” recently lost his battle with a traumatic brain injury at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. Demz was struck by an unmarked police car after allegedly being chased for being a suspect of criminal mischief. The shocking tragedy came just hours before a city wide march against police brutality due to another young man (Israel Hernandez) being tazed after a foot race with the police in 2013. It’s terrible the graffiti community has lost another one too see and we would like to share our condolences with the friends and family of Gutierrez. More photos and videos after the jump.

King ROBBO – Rest In Peace

English graffiti legend ROBBO recently passed away due to complications with an injury suffered in 2011. As a self-proclaimed London king since the 1980s, King ROBBO has had some of the world’s notorious graffiti works on the streets. Probably most notably his epic battle with Bristol stencil artist BANKSY. For decades until his injury ROBBO has put in tremendous amounts of work in the streets by himself and with Team ROBBO and WRH crew. Always a shame to see another writer fall.
