Starting this evening the legendary Revok will be premiering his first exhibition at Ruttkowski;68 Gallery in Germany. The solo show will include a range of works from three dimensional painting sculptures to hand crafted benches to be sat on in the gallery. It’s a must-not-miss if you live near the gallery.
The infamous Revok is set to make his LA debut next month with his exhibition aptly titled “Revok: Los Angeles”. The show promises the vibrant, geometric forms that Revok has become increasingly known for outside of his graffiti. Many of the pieces highlighted in “Revok: Made in Detroit.” will be on display, accompanied by 12 new paintings on assembled wood pieces. If you’re around LA at this time the show is a must-see.
Infamous graffiti artists REVOK and POSE of the MSK Crew recently created work for the MOCA in Detroit, which pays homage to their late friend NEKST. In this video the duo talk about the process, the impact of their friend’s legacy and how important Detroit has been in their lives.
Infamous graffiti legend REVOK will be signing copies of his upcoming book release, Revok: Made in Detroit, documenting works from the past two years in Motor City after his departure from his native Los Angeles. The book’s inspired by exploration of the Detroit and his pieces are representational of Detroit’s landscape, assembling rhythmic pieces from salvaged finds.
