McMullen creates brilliant landscape inspired abstract paintings which feature a vibrant colour palette and geometrical shapes layered over top one another with intense attention to detail.

James Bullough – New Mural for Richmond Mural Project

Berlin based multidisciplinary artist James Bullough is currently in Virginia where he was invited by the Richmond Mural Project to paint a large scale piece. In his signature style, Bullough brings out the geometrical patterns juxtaposed with a beautiful realist figure and graces the streets of Richmond.

Dave Brockie (aka Oderus Urungus) – Found dead in Home

According to a number of online sources, Dave Brockie the lead singer of GWAR, also known as Oderus Urungus was found dead in his home Sunday, March 23rd, 2014 at approximately 7pm. Police don’t suspect foul play and the body has been sent off for an autopsy. We were lucky enough to interview him for our 4th issue in 2012 and it was a dream come true. The man was witty, intelligent and stacked with tons of great ideas. We want to express our deepest condolences to the band, friends and family and he will be truly missed by anyone who knew him or his craft.

Pixel Pancho

Italian artist Pixel Pancho’s mural “Kiss From Space” in Richmond, Virginia is large and in charge. This piece is a part of the G40 Art Summit ‘s third edition organized by the Art Whimo Gallery, which focuses on what they call “The Art of the Mural” and how street artists transform the urban landscape.
