Victor Fota – Various Works

Victor Fota is a Romanian artist who received both a bachelor and a masters degree in art and has also studied mural painting. Fota talks about his development in this way: “During my studies, I have been continuously confronted with the inner universe and the structure of works of art, at different scales. My intense activity in the domain, lead to a better understanding of how works of art have survived to the passage of time, and what made them resist. The more profound study of the materials that form the works of art has led me to domains of physics and chemistry.”

Obie Platon – Walk&Talk Azores Festival

Recently invited to Walk&Talk Azores Festival in the Island of São Miguel, Romanian artist Obie Platon painted a large mural entitled “Platonic Forms Story”, which is now part of the festival’s Public Art Circuit. The mural presents the five characters created by the artist over the past 14 years. Since 2000, his work evolved around five unique and varied styles, each corresponding to a geometric shape of the Greek philosopher Plato – the platonic forms – and inspired by the earth, water, fire, air and the universe.
