Alongside our pals over at Fresh Paint Gallery and the Under Pressure Festival in Montreal, we are proud to announce that the traveling exhibition “Out For Fame” will be shown next month in Toronto. The graffiti inspired typography exhibition features an eclectic mix of artists from all over the globe and will be on display at Goodfellas Gallery in Parkdale. Starting this weekend (more specifically this Saturday night) the 31st of January, Ekundayo returns to Thinkspace Gallery in Los Angeles for another show. The solo show entitled “Collective Reflections”, displays the new body of work which draws from his Hawaiian roots and features his signature grotesque aesthetic.
Australian born fine-artist, vandal and art terrorist Anthony Lister is back for another solo exhibition. This time around, the infamous Lister is at the Lazarides gallery in London with a show appropriately titled “Hurt People – Hurt People” and is set to open Friday, November 28th.
Last week launched the opening of the show entitled “Egregore” at the Yves Laroche Gallery in Montreal. The show featured a ton of a mazing artists such as Jeff Soto, Jim House, Kevin Cyr and much much more. October 2nd, prolific Toronto street artist Poser takes over the walls of #Hashtag Gallery. His self-titled show brings his familiar, friendly, energetic style of art indoors to a variety of different mediums. This collection branches out from site specific works, and tackles the challenge of making portable work with the same impact that encompass a little bit of Toronto in each piece.
The Fresh Paint Gallery and the cultural center of Montreal North has teamed to for a collaboration exhibition where the forecourt of cultural center will be completely refurbished by a number artists being part of the exhibition. Artists such as Isaac Holland, MonstR, HoarKor, Adida Fallen Angel, MissMe, Carolina Espinosa, Gawd, Mc Baldassari and former interviewee Mister XRay will be given a chance to transform a space for viewers to see.
