Daniel Mączyński – New Paintings

“I do not want to dwell about importance of my painting, hidden subtext and analysis, because this evaluate is for others. I want to write where I’m going. I want to first of all a synthesis of form. My work revolves around the form but they are more mysterious forms than people .In my paintings undergoing like the process of geometrization – which brings to mind the science experiments on the creation of a new entity, where getting errors – and this is my inspiration, unsuccessful and abandoned form. Crystal Wagner – Paper Sculptures

Crystal Wagner received her MFA from the University of Tennessee in 2008, her BFA from the Atlanta College of Art in 2004, and her AFA from Keystone College in 2002. She is represented by Hashimoto Contemporary, San Francisco, CA. Wagner’s interest in combining 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional forms, alternative use of materials, and hybrid approaches to printmaking, and massive site-specific installations, have led to her artwork being exhibited extensively in the U.S and abroad. Her most recent commissions includes a large-scale installation for the internationally recognized band The Flaming Lips and a large shadow box for GNU a snowboard company out of Portland, OR. Wagner actively visits universities across the U.S as a visiting artist. Past and upcoming ventures have had her at The University of Kansas, KS, Bowling Green State University, OH, Georgetown College, KY, Texas Tech University, TX, University of Iowa, IA, University of Hawaii, HI, University of South Carolina, Southeast Missouri State University, MO, and upoming at The University of Syracuse, NY.

Guillermo Mora – Heavy Acrylic Sculptures

Spanish artist Guillermo Mora creates gooey sculptures out of acrylic paint. This innovate sculptor creates magnificent installations made from just acrylic paint and rubber bands or leather belts. Mora dumps buckets of acrylic in extremely vibrant colours and then lets dry until the paint is hardened. After drying he proceeds to fold and wrap the oozing acrylics into one beautiful piece.
